The GIS Policy Council is overseeing the development of a modernized GIS Strategic Plan for West Virginia. The State Steering Committee, appointed by the GIS Policy Council, is charged with development and implementation of the plan in collaboration with West Virginia's GIS community.
The Strategic Planning process will officially begin with the first State Steering Committee meeting. In order to make the planning process as transparent as possible; planning progress and drafts will be posted on this site throughout the process as they become available.
